Descrizione
The “Consorzio Socio-Assistenziale del Cuneese” is a public entity committed to organising/managing the provision of social and welfare activities/services for citizens in need (the experienced difficulties may include social, family, economic, relational troubles, even of temporary nature).
The Consorzio acts on behalf of 53 municipalities of the Cuneo area.

The Consorzio aims at addressing the needs of Italian citizens, foreing citizens with residency permit or beneficiaries of International Protection, and unaccompanied foreign minors.

The areas of concerns covered by the Consorzio are the following:

  • Youth and families: Services and activities aimed to supporting young people and families during their life path. Particularly, the Consorzio devotes attention to prevention of juvenile distress, support for parents in the parental role, protection of minors and prevention against violence towards women.
  • People with disabilities: The Consorzio engages in activities designed to sustain people with disabilities during their life path, by including social, welfare and health services, residential hospitality and day time activities.
  • Elder people: Activities to sustain elder people, both self-sufficient and not self-sufficient, which encompass social/welfare and health services, residential hospitality and daytime activities.
  • Adults: Activities with the purpose of preventing economic inconveniences and social marginalisation, sustaining people and families with economic need, social weaknesses, problems linked to immigration and housing emergency.

As a part of specific projects, the Consorzio can offer a service of intercultural mediation and language interpretation for foreign people who need to benefit from the Consorzio services.
